
America's most popular talk show host, Oprah Winfrey, will do a special segment on top Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Sprint contender Oprah Winney, when "The Oprah Winfrey Show" airs on Tuesday, October 23 (check local listings). The segment will include footage of some of Oprah Winney's past victories, discussion of this year's Breeders' Cup World Championships (Monmouth Park, Oct. 26-27), and Winfrey cheering on her near-namesake to victory at the Breeders' Cup.
Oprah Winney is scheduled to run Friday, October 26, in the $1 million Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Sprint at Monmouth Park in Oceanport, N.J. The race, to be televised live on ESPN2 with a scheduled post time of 4:25 p.m. ET, features America's best female sprinters.
